Have you ever noticed how a stone or rain drop, that falls in water, will make ripples that begin tiny then spread? And if you look at your reflection in that rippling water you can see it change as the ripples reshape your image.

And so it is with people who begin with a tiny act of kindness that grows until it then begins to reshape the lives of those it touches. I would like to use this page to thank some of my net friends who have made ripples in my life.

Peggy (Pigli) is a friend from my old high school neighborhood who I found through AOL's "Baby Boomers" Message Board. She keeps reminding me that we have not gotten "older".....just "better". *G*
Amy (Tis Tilly) is the bubbly Queen of E-mail. Everyday she sends a cheery message and maybe a joke or two. They say laughter is the best medicine and I can always count on Amy to provide it.
Dan (CutchRef) may have retired from coaching and refereeing but still holds the world's record for fun on the web and good conversation. He calls me his "big sister" and teases me about being older......well maybe so, Dan, but at least I know how to catch a plane on time *G*.
Mike (MulCrew, aka Dynowave) and his wife Jan (Redgal111) are my friends from Maine. I owe a great deal of what I know about wavs and HTML to Mike. I think he is the one who convinced me that I could indeed write my own web page.
Rena (At1955).......better known as "@" ......... is my cheery friend who is an expert at manicures, VW Bugs and making people feel welcome in a chat room.
Jason (RnBkeSwm)calls me his "adopted Mom". This honor comes with a price tag, however........I have to teach him HTML. It is a good thing he is a fast learner and his web page is a fascinating work in progress. A note to all you twenty-something single girls out there: take a look...you will be glad you did. Believe me, this young man could teach "charm school"! Visit Jason's page

BJ presented me with my very first web page "award". This generous act from my "Ladies of the Heart" sister gave me the confidence I needed to keep working. And it was the link on her page that made me look at and then become a member of a wonderful group of web "Ladies".
Visit BJ's lovely Victorian page

Bonnie (Quick As A Snail) is my "Ladies of the Heart" sister who first taught me about "TOAST" guestbooks and how you can even use HTML to customize them.
Pauline (Just Gypsy) is another "L.O.T.H." sister who can brighten anyone's day. Even if it is not your birthday, you should peek at her special "Happy Birthday" page because you will come away feeling happy.......I always do! Then go visit Gypsy's page for another blast of merriment.

Marybeth is an AOL employee who took me under her wing when I had a virus problem and no one else seemed to care. Now we have become friends. I will always be grateful to her for being so sweet.

Beth (Eternity19) is a Garden House sister who I met during a "secret sister" project. We had a lot of fun! I have lost touch with her... but I wish her well always.
Carrie (MawV) and Nando are friends who keep me posted on a Missionary project dear to my heart
I met my Canadian friend, Monique, while participating in another LOTH secret Sister project and we became fast friends.
Mandy is a LOTH friend from California. On a visit out to San Diego to see the grandkids in '98, I met with Mandy for a lovely day of antique shopping. Upon returning home, the sweetheart that she is, sent me a huge box of the most beautiful strawberries I have ever seen from her Grandfather's farm.
Spencer is a friend in Oceanside, CA who I helped with her "singlemoms.org" web site and then her budding wedding/gift basket site. Through the years we have shared laughter and tears, prayers and stories. Spencer even arranged once for me to be a guest speaker on a San Diego radio talk show the night they featured "web e-commerce"...... quite an experience!
Feza is a friend in Turkey. She has shown me how the net has brought together worldwide friendships. One day when the Mideast is again at peace, I hope to travel to Turkey and meet her family, meanwhile I pray each day for their continued safety during these difficult times we live in. Visit her site.

Catie is a LOTH sister and friend. We met when I drew her name in a LOTH secret sister program and thus did a special Easter surprise for her. Catie was the inspiration for my brief but enjoyable foray into the wild and quizotical world of SCA....... The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating pre-17th-century European history, the Medieval times. We established "personas" sewed "garb" and set off for an adventure in rural Alabama for a Renaissance weekend complete with jousting, banquiting, archery, dancing and a bonfires, with a couple hundred other ladies and knights. If you are interested....... read about our personas, Gwynth (mine) and Cathryn (Catie's). And be sure and Visit her site.

Aldin (Dino) wrote to me one day a few years ago with a web programing question. I soon realized how talented he is in design as well as programing. Now working for my design studio, his contributions are invaluable. Aldin also writes & records hip-hop music under the name, Bazzy. His current CD has songs about his family fleeing from war-torn Bosnia, about his love for his Mom and his deep love for his new home, America. The Atlanta newspaper and TV station recently did interviews expressing the fact that his music is refreshingly clean. See for yourself..... visit his site and enjoy a listen.
Irv is a talented poet (latest book, the hilarious...."The Nerve of Irv") who ran across my web site one day, says he and his wife visit the Garden often, and was inspired to write a poem about "Ladybug". So does that mean Ladybug is now an official "muse"?
Birgit is a friend from Canada (originally from Germany). She is one of my fellow-Ladybug friends , as she is called "Ladybug" too. Visit her ladybug web site. Birgit is a Certified Dental Assistant who has worked in Dentistry for over 25 years and was given an award from the Canadian Dental Assistants' Assoc. for her contibutions to promoting good oral health to the public through use of the Internet at her toothfairycyberspace website.
