A Graduation Gift (exercise in "altered techniques")

The little blankbook had a tan cover and black pages, with two velum pages added at the beginning and end. I added a tie string, embellished with silver beads, which was strung through holes in the cover before inserting the pages into the cover.

Pockets glued on the pages created room to hold tags. This gave the book dimension as well as allowing a small area to hold a lot more.
