Page 36, "Flying
Without Wings":
I wanted
to use a good portion of the end of the book's pages to experiment
with cutting alcoves. On each side there are at least 50 or more
pages glued together. The alcoves are painted on the inside edges,
and backed with contrasting papers. Metal flying things and a
key sit inside the deep alcoves and other flatter bugs are sprinkled
around the pages. The text is from the beautiful song "Flying
Without Wings". I added a bit of sequined trim from my
scrap bag.
