Page 29, "Sea Gulls ":

This is where I used an old photo of my daughter, Kristy, frolicking in the waves. All the bits of torn paper scraps reminded me of the beach and I found two images of gulls to printout and add. Of course a stamp of the sun was appropriate. In the center, on the flap left where I cut out a page in-between, I fastened on a piece of velum cut with a wavy edge and cut with a spiral punch. The paper on the far left was a piece torn off an experiment from a class in paint effects I took at Scrapbash. We dabbed on pearlized and glittery paint with a sponge. Its hard to see here but it has glittery silver sparkles in it.
