Page 22, "Fly A Kite":

While stamping on the left page, I happened to notice the word "summer" among the book's text. So I painted over all of the text, leaving that lone word visible. I fasted on a bubble stone to magnify the word. The girl was printed from computer and cut our, yarn hair with ribbons added, and the kite was made from sticks and orange tissue paper with a yarn string and tail attached. When I found two orange pressed flowers in my collection, I knew they were perfect to carry the orange color to the other page. Because they were fragile, I fastened a bit of clear acetate over them for protection.
