Page 13, "Chase
a Butterfly":
I cut a page
out of the book between these two pages, leaving a half inch edge
(when you remove pages from your book you want to leave an edge,
otherwise the binding will fall apart). I dry-embossed a piece
of velum and glued it to that edge left from the removed page.
Paper scraps were glues to pages. On the left a scrap of woven
metallic mesh was placed under the printed velum and a metal butterfly
added on top. On the right I used an image printed from the computer,
then torn. Little brown and tan plastic embellishments were added.
